Darren Lee & Gary David (above) were the first ICC members across the line, finishing 5th overall (1st 40yr+ double), followed by Ian Timbrill (11th overall, 2nd Men 40-49 Years), Cade Barnes (12th overall, 9th Open Men), Robert Barry (17th overall, 4th Men 40-49 Years), Jeff Banks (2nd Men 50-59 Years) and Robert Hodge (5th Men 50-59 Years). |
NSW Winter Marathon Series: Race 10 Wagga Wagga Another triumphant victory by Darren Lee in Division 1 in the final NSW WMS race held at Wagga Wagga on Saturday 10th November. With the river at 27yr low, it ensured difficult padding conditions despite a change of the racing course that often resulted with the paddle hitting the bottom of the river. Darren remained undefeated capturing the overall Division 1 title. Also competing, was Nigel Gregory & Scott Birdsall who finished 5th in Division 3 |
